Student Work: enJoy Zine Project
enJoy Zine is a project that I made for my publication design class. The goal for the assignment was to create a 16-page zine-style publication on any topic we desired.
Preparation
Before I began designing, I planned out where everything in the zine was going to go with a Book map. With this I was able to make sure that all of the content that I wanted in the zine had space, and also create a good flow of information for the viewer. I then source all of my articles from ChatGTP. All of my photos came from DSReps.com, Pexels.com, and nomatinence.com
Hand Made Type
I took some of the images that I found and created hand made type to create good interaction between image and type. I wanted these sections to be visual breaks from all of the text present in the zine.
My main goal was creating Dynamic spread and testing my ability with Indesign
